Not even a month since my last trip and I am already itching to get going again. I guess that's what it's like to have a wandering heart...can't complain, I guess it could be worse right?
2017 is going to be full of adventures both domestic and international, so stay tuned for those details in the near future. Next up for sure is Manzanillo (from my home state of Colima, Mexico...little known fact about me: I was born in Mexico and moved to the states when I was 6 and now have the awesome privilege of having dual citizenship, which is pretty rad). I will be FINALLY meeting up with an amazing couple who I am dying to meet and shoot (you know who you are...). It'll technically be my first international shoot, but since I'm heading back to my hometown, I guess I'm not sure if that counts or not. I'm going to give myself the benefit of the doubt and count it though!
The summers in the great PNW are tough to beat, so I'll be staying fairly local most of the summer (hike, surf, create, eat, sleep, repeat). With the exception of a jam-packed road trip down through California and Utah, I will be mostly in good old Washington State so if you want to shoot or collaborate, let's talk. I am hoping for a summer filled with early morning sunrise views and staying up way into the night to watch the stars. Won't be getting much sleep at all during the summer, but that's the life of adventure right?
Fall and winter trips I am still working on, but the top two contenders so far are Cuba and Alaska. I am more than happy to receive any travel tips or recommendations from anyone, so please feel free to shoot those over to me, I'd love to hear them!
As far as the next few months go, I have most weekends booked for shoots, which is super exciting for me! I haven't been to keen on advertising the portrait work that I can do, but having people reaching out recently has been encouraging. Thank you all for supporting my work, and I hope I can repay that love and support by sharing with you the work I am most proud of.
Stay tuned as the website continues to grow, and as always, much love and good vibes!
